Description
This product has been discontinued and replaced by Part No 32651.
Switch on/off computers, routers, access points or any other electrical appliance with a maximum power consumption of 2000 W via the network. Switch access is by means of any Web browser - also password-protected where required.
The built-in measurement connection can be used to connect the temperature sensor to the device. This can be ordered from us under Article No. 32648. If used, the ambient temperature can then be displayed in the main menu and the switching menu and can be read out via SNMP.
Various end devices can be monitored via the built-in watchdog function. Either ICMP pings or TCP pings are sent to the device being monitored. If a response is not received to these pings within a certain time (the time and the number of attempts can both be configured), the matching power port is reset. Servers or NAS systems which have failed can be restarted automatically.
Upon request, you can also define timed switching operations using the supplied command line tool and e.g. .the Windows scheduler.
Technical details
Measurement:
- Measurement of current, voltage, phase angle, power factor, frequency, actual-, apparent- and reactive power
- Two energy meters: One meter counts continuous from commissioning, another meter can be reset.
- Connection for external sensor with connection cable (2 m)
Switching:
- All platforms - controlled from Web browser
- Switchable from all PCs via Web interface and SNMP set in the network (also over Internet)
- Manual switching of power port via button on device
- A switch-on delay of up to 135 minutes can be assigned to the power port; this will kick on after the restart
- After restarting the device, the original state of the power port is automatically restored
- Batch mode allows you to switch the power port, and, after a configurable time period, make it return to its previous state automatically
- Watchdog function for the power port
-
Operation/control:
- Dynamically assign an IP address via DHCP or manual assignment of a fixed IP address.
- Firmware update via Ethernet
- SNMP support (SNMPv1, SNMPv2c)
- SNMP traps (SNMPv1, SNMPv2c)
- Syslog support
- Access protection via IP access control
- Access protection via optional HTTP password
- Simple flexible configuration via Web browser, Windows program GBL_Conf or Linux program gblc
- Optional control via the command line tool epccontrol2.pl (e.g. for automatic or time-controlled activation)
- Designed and manufactured in Germany
