This advanced KVM Switch has been designed for use with PCs and Macs. It features DVI single link video ports and a two port USB 2.0 hub for connecting and sharing your peripherals. With full audio support, you can also connect your speakers and microphone.
The switch occupies only a single 1U space in a 19” rack and supports screen resolutions of up to 1920x1200, great for ensuring optimum clarity if used in digital media or graphic design scenarios. It provides 2 simple switching modes, via keyboard hotkeys and front panel buttons.
A local console can be connected to the 2 USB and DVI ports on the rear panel while the built-in 2 port USB 2.0 hub allows you to save money on additional devices by sharing peripherals between the connected computers. The unique switching arrangement allows the USB hub and the Audio ports to be switched independently of the PCs for uninterrupted listening, printing, scanning or external drive access. Options can be accessed only via keyboard hotkeys.
LED indicators show status of connected computers and selected channel. The switch supports digital and analogue signals via DVI-I ports but it doesn't convert video signals; it only switches between all digital or all analogue signals. If used with analogue signals, the device supports VGA resolutions up to 2048x1536.
Please Note: connection cables are not included. DVI, USB A to B, and 3.5mm microphone and speaker cables are required for each connected computer. The maximum supported distance for USB, using standard cables, is 5m. For distances over 5m, use a Lindy USB Active Extension Cable.

USB KM connectivity via 3 USB HID ports allow for a keyboard and mouse at the receiver to control a DP equipped PC from a remote PC setup, which can be stored in a secure or controlled temperature environment, while seamlessly providing consistent video content from the display. The use of LC fibre between the transmitter and receiver provides a reliable, lower cost connection for much longer distances that what is possible over copper cabling, great for use in electronically _noisy_ environments such as factory shop floors or medical installations.
With the ability to extend signals up to 300m using the two included units, the transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DisplayPort source devices such as PCs and laptops in a more convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area with a LFD (large format display), monitor or projector, ensuring there is no distraction from the display from bulky source devices. Please note: Lindy_s 10GBase-LR/LW SFP+ LC Single Mode (25039) Fibre Modules can be used as an alternative to the Included Mini GBIC multi-mode LC modules, increasing the maximum range of the extender to 500m (1640.4ft).
The Lindy Cat.6 DVI-D Single Link, USB & Audio KVM Extender allows users to control a source device such as a PC from a single keyboard, mouse and display up to 50m using two Cat.6 RJ45 cables. Supports single link resolutions up to 1920x1200 and HDMI signals including Full HD 1920x1080, 3D and HDCP 1.4. Ideal for KVM applications, the Extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit, the transmitter must be connected to a source such as a PC or KVM Switch, the console with display, keyboard and mouse must be connected to the receiver. It's also possible to connect a USB 2.0 device or add a USB hub to connect additional USB peripherals such as storage or printers.
To adjust video signal, you can rotate the EQ switch on the rear panel of the receiver unit while an inbuilt USB to Audio converter allows users to connect speakers, microphones and a line-in interface.
To get the best performances, Lindy suggest using two identical Cat.6 Solid Core cables.

The Lindy 120m Cat.6 HDMI & USB KVM Extender is a complete end to end reliable solution to control a source device such as a PC from a single keyboard, mouse and display over long distances via Cat.6 network cable.
Supporting resolutions up to Full HD 1920x1080, ideal for high-performance KVM applications and also for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter unit. Ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation.
USB ports allow for a mouse and keyboard to be connected to the receiver to control a USB source device such as a PC or laptop. The extender features an HDMI loop-through output on the transmitter which allows for simultaneous viewing using both the local and remote displays. This versatility provides a suitable solution for use in various scenarios such as educational presentation systems, home cinema, entertainment systems, or trade shows.
