KVM extender user station USB, Audio & VGA 300m This user station is connected via dedicated Cat.5/5e UTP cables to the KVM switch or in stand-alone extender operation to a Computer Access Module (CAM). The VGA- and PS/2 signals are converted and multiplexed via the Cat.5/5e cable to the KVM switch or Cat. 5 module. Using high-quality Cat.6 or shielded (FTP, SFTP, PIMF, ...) Cable is more of a disadvantage than an advantage. The available cable lengths may be reduced! The KVM extender user station has a high-quality digitally-adjustable video amplifier and equaliser as well as an electronically adjustable skew compensation (runtime compensation due to different core pair lengths in the UTP cable). Therefore provides compensation for brightness-, contrast- and picture sharpness losses. They achieve very good picture quality of up to 1600x1200 even at distances of up to 300 m!

Available Cat.5 KVM Receiver Module: When operated as a KVM Extender, the User Station is usually combined with a Cat.5 KVM module (LINDY Art. No. 39354, VGA USB & Audio). However, it can also be combined with Cat.5 KVM modules without Audio or with PS/2 ports if required (LINDY Art. Nos. 39351, 39352, 39355, 39355).
