HDMI splitters are high quality solutions for distributing identical content simultaneously across several HDMI displays.
The Lindy 16 Port HDMI Splitter is a professional solution for distributing high quality HDMI content simulateneously across 16 seperate displays, when connected to a single HDMI source such as media players, PCs or set top boxes.
With support for full 4K@60Hz resolutions and HDR, content can be viewed in superior quality with a wider colour gamut and greater contrast. The splitter is perfect for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, hospitality, conference rooms, transport hubs or impressive residential installations. HDCP 2.2 support also ensures seamless playback of 4K and Full HD content including video games, Blu-rays and on-demand video.
The splitter also includes a smart EDID dip switch for ensuring the optimum resolutions possible are shown on the connected displays.
A KVM switch allows an operator to conveniently control and manage multiple devices, such as PCs and servers, from a single keyboard, mouse and display console.
This advanced KVM Switch has been designed for use with PCs and Macs. It features DVI single link video ports and a two port USB 2.0 hub for connecting and sharing your peripherals. With full audio support, you can also connect your speakers and microphone.
The switch occupies 2U space in a 19” rack and supports screen resolutions of up to 1920x1200, great for ensuring optimum clarity if used in digital media or graphic design scenarios. It provides 2 simple switching modes, via keyboard hotkeys and front panel buttons.
A local console can be connected to the 2 USB and DVI ports on the rear panel while the built-in 2 port USB 2.0 hub allows you to save money on additional devices by sharing your peripherals between the connected computers. The unique switching arrangement allows the USB hub and the Audio ports to be switched independently of the PCs for uninterrupted listening, printing, scanning or external drive access. Options can be accessed only via keyboard hotkeys.
LED indicators show status of connected computers and selected channel. The switch supports digital and analogue signals via DVI-I ports but it doesn't convert video signals; it only switches between all digital or all analogue signals. If used with analog signals, it supports VGA resolutions up to 2048x1536.
Please Note: connection cables are not included. DVI, USB A to B, and 3.5mm microphone and speaker cables are required for each connected computer. The maximum supported distance for USB, using standard cables, is 5m. For distances over 5m, use a Lindy USB Active Extension Cable.
This high performance unit allows you to connect the output from a single UHD source, such as a set top box, Blu-Ray player or computer, to sixteen separate HDMI or DVI equipped displays. Ideal for demonstration, education, training, advertising and presentation purposes.
Why choose LINDY HDMI devices?
Higher speed: HDMI 1.4 increases its single-link bandwidth to 340 MHz (10.2 Gbps) to support the demands of future HD display devices, such as higher resolutions, Deep Color and high frame rates. In addition, built into the HDMI 1.3 specification is the technical foundations that will let future versions of HDMI reach significantly higher speeds.
Deep Color: HDMI 1.4 supports up to 48-bit Color depths, up from the 8-bit depths in previous versions of the HDMI specification, for stunning rendering of over one billion Colors in unprecedented detail.
Broader Color space: HDMI 1.4 adds support for "x.v.Color™", which removes current Color space limitations and enables the display of any Color viewable by the human eye
New mini connector: With small portable devices such as HD camcorders and still cameras demanding seamless connectivity to HDTVs, HDMI 1.4 offers a new, smaller form factor connector option
Lip Sync: Because consumer electronics devices are using increasingly complex digital signal processing to enhance the clarity and detail of the content, synchronization of video and audio in user devices has become a greater challenge and could potentially require complex end-user adjustments. HDMI 1.4 incorporates automatic audio syncing capabilities which allow devices to perform this synchronization automatically with total accuracy
New HD lossless audio formats: In addition to HDMI‘s current ability to support high-bandwidth uncompressed digital audio and all currently-available compressed formats (such as Dolby® Digital and DTS®), HDMI 1.4 adds additional support for new lossless compressed digital audio formats Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio™
Note on using DVI equipped devices with this HDMI Splitter:
To connect devices equipped with DVI connections, you can use either modular DVI/HDMI adapters or DVI/HDMI adapter cables. Be aware that DVI is a 'video only' interface, audio signals are not supported when using DVI devices!
This advanced Lindy 16 Port Gigabit switch with PoE provides a high performance, intelligent expansion to a distributed IP network, while utilising dual SFP+ module slots for longer distance uplink, ideal for larger scale or multi-building installations. All RJ-45 ports are PoE IEEE 802.3at/af compliant providing up to 30W of power to compatible devices, simplifying the whole installation.
Supporting full Layer 2 management, traffic can be separated and managed effectively via advanced VLAN features, alongside QoS for independent traffic prioritisation and IGMP Snooping for optimised multicast stream listening, while the user can efficiently control the network via Web Gui, Telnet or command line. Featuring virtual stacking, this switch can also be integrated alongside multiple switches for even larger scale installations, while controlled and managed as a single switch.
Optical Digital Diagnostic Monitoring support also ensures the user is provided with consistent critical information regarding the status of both the transmitter and received signals, ensuring faults can be identified and resolved with minimum disruption to the system.
The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable Slim uses built-in active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 device by an additional 15m whilst continuing to support data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. With its USB A male and USB A female connector it allows Type A devices such as storage devices, webcams and other Type A devices to be connected at longer distances to PCs, laptops and tablets, while also ensuring flexible positioning. Up to 2 extension cables can be chained together to achieve a distance of 30m.
The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable is compatible with all USB Type A equipped computers. The cable's unique and slim design allows installation in narrow surroundings - an advantage over other active USB leads which use bulky connectors.
The USB active extension cable also features a DC socket for connecting an external power supply (not included) when using USB peripherals which have higher power requirements.
