The 100m Cat.6 HDMI, IR & RS-232 HDBaseT Extender with PoH & Ethernet Hub is an end to end, premium solution for extending HDMI signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable, while also providing an integrated 3 port Ethernet hub in either unit.
The following distance and resolution combinations are possible when using high quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP cable:
100m: 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit
70m: 3840x2160@60Hz 4:2:0 8bit / 30Hz 4:4:4 8bit
Supporting resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, providing a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, immersive displays at events or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls. A HDMI loop out port on the transmitter also allows for connection of a local display for monitoring, great for control room and CCTV installations.
PoH (Power over HDBaseT) functionality provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point to point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter unit. Ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation.
Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source side. Combined with CEC control, which allows commands from one main remote, this extension system allows for complete and simple control for the user. RS-232 pass-through also allows for integration into larger control systems.
The integrated 3 port Ethernet hub at both the transmitter and receiver units, can be connected easily to standard network devices including routers, network switches or larger hubs for simple access over LAN.
In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could create a major issue.
HDBaset is a globally recognised standard for high quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over longer distances via low cost Cat.6 or above cable.
HDBaseT™ and the HDBaseT Alliance logo are trademarks of the HDBaseT Alliance.
Please Note: The local HDMI output of the Transmitter may not be used at the same time as the HDBaseT connection
Important: the HDBaseT RJ-45 ports on this splitter must never be connected to a LAN as this will cause the extender to fail
Perfect for home cinema or professional AV installations, the HDBaseT Splitter is capable of extending Full HD 1080p, including 3D to 4 displays at distances of up to 100m using a single CAT 5e/6/7 cable. The HDBaseT Splitter is also able to extend infrared signals, allowing AV equipment to be controlled up to 100m away. An integrated Ethernet hub also allows you to conveniently connect PC/MAC, NAS, Wireless Access Point and other network equipment over the same single CAT 5e/6/7 cable.

Please Note:
For larger distances up to 300m/450m, we recommend our HDMI Fibre Optic Extender
The IR Kit for Fibre Optic AV Extenders enables the extension of IR remote control signals alongside AV signals. The kit comprises of a Receiver and an Emitter which are then directly connected to the extender, and sited in a suitable location at either end of the installation using the adhesive pads on the base of each unit.
The Lindy Fibre Optic HDMI 4K30 Extender is a high performance solution for extending HDMI signals over incredible distances. Using a standard LC duplex single mode (9/125µ) fibre optic cable to make the long distance connection, this HDMI Extender provides support for 4K Ultra HD resolutions, ideal for attention grabbing digital signage, high end residential installations or an event’s AV distribution.
The extender system comprises two modules, a transmitter and a receiver, which are connected to both the HDMI source and display using standard HDMI cables of up to 5m. The modules are then connected together using a single, standard LC duplex single mode fibre cable of up to 700m (3km if without HDCP) in length (fibre optic cable is not included).
Support for IR extension can be added by purchasing the IR Extender Kit, which allows the control of IR equipment connected to the Transmitter from the remote Receiver.
Main functions of the HDMI WIFI Projector Server
The HDMI WIFI Projector Server allows one or more users to stream sound & images such as presentations, videos or simple sound files to a connected projector. This is done via WIFI, which all modern laptops and other mobile devices have. The projector server functions as a WIFI router and supports the IEEE 802.11b/g/n protocols. This makes it possible to present and surf at the same time- to play a video from the Internet for example.
HD Video and audio are sent to the connected device together via HDMI. Alternatively, the Projector Server offers a VGA and audio interface for older devices.
Conference Control
The Administrator can control the display and connection of individual computers. He/she does this via the website provided by the Projector Server. The resolution and split screen mode can be configured from here.
Users can download the software which allows streaming to the projector server from the projector server itself.
Plug&Show
Thanks to its very simple installation, this device can be use right away. The software can be loaded in different ways. It can be loaded via the browser over an existing WIFI connection, from a CD or the supplied USB stick.
SplitScreen mode
Up to four different video sources can be shown on-screen on a projector. This makes it possible to compare or monitor several things next to each other for example.
Computer, Tablet, Smartphone
Mobile devices can also be connected to the projector server via an app, as well as the connection to a computer. iOS and Android are supported.
Additional USB interfaces
The USB interfaces attached to the front of the projector server are suitable for processing additional information from touchscreens or whiteboards, amongst other things. A mouse and keyboard can also be connected.
Please note: This product is not compatible with macOS 10.15.5
