Description

The LINDY HDMI Gigabit Display Adapter allows you to connect HDMI displays to your PC via a standard Gigabit network. Capable of resolutions up to 1080p the adapter also features two USB ports for connecting a keyboard and mouse, as it may also be used as a KVM extender, as well as other selected USB devices.

Installation is simple, just install the supplied driver and software and connect it to your network to complete the installation. Once the installation is complete simply open the software and connect to the monitor. It will appear on your PC like any other locally connected monitor, allowing you to extend or mirror your display. Up to 6 displays can be connected to an individual PC at any time.

Supports HDMI resolutions up to Full HD 1080p with audio
Uses USB server, USB network server and DisplayLink technology to transmit the appropriate signals over LAN
Uses high quality dynamic video compression for network transmission via Gigabit Ethernet
Supports network switches and other devices such as Fiber Optic Media Converters for longer distances
Limited use with Fast Ethernet 100Base-T, which provides less bandwidth by a factor of 10 and leads to higher dynamic compression and noticeable video compression
Supports up to 6 HDMI Display over Gigabit Adapter via a single Gigabit Ethernet network. The full available bandwidth will be used if an identical image signal is streamed to all six adapters. If different image signals are streamed, bandwidth will be shared resulting to greater video compression.
2 USB ports on the display adapter support standard USB mouse & keyboard, various USB 2.0 mass storage devices, USB sticks and printers; USB hubs, USB 3.0 devices are not supported

Windows 8/8.1 rerquires a firmware update of the adapter - find all required details in the manuals section on the website
