The Lindy DisplayPort 1.4 Repeater is an active solution for amplifying and extending high-resolution 8K UHD DisplayPort signals up to distances of 12m, or up to five repeaters can be cascaded together to extend 8K signals up to 32m. 4K UHD and Full HD resolutions can also be extended at distances up to 35m using a single repeater.
Support for 8K UHD resolutions and HDR are combined to create an exceptional viewing experience with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut. HDMI and multi-channel audio formats such as Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD & DTS-X help to create a true sense of immersion when coupled with UHD resolutions and high refresh rates up to 144Hz in PC gaming and other applications. HDCP and DPCP 1.0 support ensures maximum compatibility with copy protected digital content from streaming services or media players.
By amplifying an input signal, the repeater overcomes the limitations of passive copper cables and can extend DisplayPort signals without errors over greater distances than traditional cables.

Support for DisplayPort 1.2 allows for the transmission of highly detailed 3840x2160@60Hz resolutions, perfect for eye catching digital signage or detailed content in medical setups.
This extender also supports lossless audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD to add powerful multi-channel sound to video content, providing an enhanced experience and sense of immersion for the viewer. USB KM connectivity via 3 USB HID ports allow for a keyboard and mouse at the receiver to control a DP equipped PC from a remote PC setup, which can be stored in a secure or controlled temperature environment, while seamlessly providing consistent video content from the display. The use of LC fibre between the transmitter and receiver provides a reliable, lower cost connection for much longer distances that what is possible over copper cabling, great for use in electronically “noisy” environments such as factory shop floors or medical installations.
With the ability to extend signals up to 300m using the two included units, the transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DisplayPort source devices such as PCs and laptops in a more convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area with a LFD (large format display), monitor or projector, ensuring there is no distraction from the display from bulky source devices. Please note: Lindy’s 10GBase-LR/LW SFP+ LC Single Mode (25038) Fibre Modules can be used as an alternative to the Included Mini GBIC multi-mode LC modules, increasing the maximum range of the extender to 500m (1640.4ft).

This repeater supports a maximum DP resolution of 3840x2160@60Hz for excellent 4K video quality, while support for HDCP 1.4 and DPCP ensures 4K signals can be transmitted with no hassle for the viewer. DP++ support also allows connection to VGA, DVI Single Link or HDMI displays, easing any of the user’s fears of connectivity issues to the display via additional adapters.
The repeater is ideal for use with professional AV/IT setups that require longer length transmissions with no degradation of the DP signal, with the device providing optimum amplification to prevent noise or distortion. The Lindy 30m DisplayPort 1.2 Repeater can be used to extend 4K UltraHD DisplayPort signals up to distances of 30m via connection of two DisplayPort cables. The repeater supports a maximum resolution of 3840x2160@60Hz for sharp 4K video quality and 60Hz frame rates for smoother motion in the user’s videos, while additional support for HDCP 1.4 and DPCP ensures issue-free playback of a range of 4K Ultra HD movies, TV shows and other 4K content as well as existing Full HD signals.

The Lindy 1200m Fibre Optic DisplayPort 1.2 Extender is the professional solution for extending DP 1.2 signals over increased distances, not possible with traditional copper-based systems, using a single standard LC duplex singlemode (9/125µm) fibre optic cable.
Support for the DisplayPort 1.2 specification allows for the transmission of highly detailed 4K UHD resolutions, without any compression, ensuring content is visually lossless at the display side. Video content can be seen with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, viewing detailed information in real time operation centres or when delivering engaging and immersive educational presentations in lecture theatres. HDCP pass-through also means that protected 4K content including movies and TV shows can be viewed without issue.
As opposed to the use of copper-based extension systems, the use of fibre optic cable also ensures immunity to RF and EMI via galvanic isolation and high resistance, providing a stable signal in ‘noisy’ retail or industrial environments which can have a high interference from electronics. Premium metal housing on both units provided an additional layer of immunity to interference.
With the ability to extend signals up to 1200m the extender provides huge installation flexibility. The transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DP source devices such as media players or PC's in a convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area along with a 4K display or projector.
