The Lindy HDMI 2.0 EDID Emulator Adapter is designed for systems that require EDID signals to be continuously provided without interruption and helps overcome EDID related problems which can occur when using AV/KVM Extenders, Switches and Splitters.
The Emulator can solve a host of compatibility problems when using mixed equipment, especially extenders. With support for resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K 60Hz and with the ability to pass –through HDCP 2.2 content the Emulator is suitable for use with the very latest PC and AV applications.
Some computer systems, KVM switches and digital video signage systems may interrupt the flow of EDID data, or may not be able to pass this information directly back to the video card's output port. This adapter can be used to quickly and easily clone the EDID data from a HDMI display so that the graphics card has direct access to the correct data from the display, the cloning process takes less than 10 seconds!
It is also possible to use the Emulator without cloning a display as it comes complete with preset EDID data for the most commonly used resolution/timing combinations, please see the Technical Information section for a full breakdown.

The Lindy DisplayPort 1.2 Repeater is an active solution for amplifying high quality 4K DisplayPort signals up to distances of 40m, without any loss in image quality. This repeater supports a maximum DP resolution of 3840x2160@60Hz for excellent 4K video quality, while support for HDCP 1.4 and DPCP ensures 4K signals can be transmitted with no hassle for the viewer. DP++ support also allows connection to VGA, DVI Single Link or HDMI displays, easing any of the user_s fears of connectivity issues to the display via additional adapters.
The repeater is ideal for use with professional AV/IT setups that require longer length transmissions with no degradation of the DP signal, with the device providing optimum amplification to prevent noise or distortion. The single DP ports are also perfect for integrating DP source devices such as graphics cards and laptops to DP displays at either end of long length DP cable.
This VGA Extender transmits VGA and audio signals through CAT5e network cables over distances of up to 300m when using high-quality solid core network cable.
Easy to install, the Extender system is made up of local transmitter and remote receiver units that are connected together with CAT5e cable (not included), high quality solid core installation cable is recommended. The local transmitter unit connects to the computer system's VGA port, with a VGA output available to connect a local monitor, while the receiver unit connects to your remote monitor or projector.
The extender includes both Gain and Skew controls to allow you to adjust the brightness and sharpness of the picture according to your requirement.
Both Extender units are housed in sturdy metal casings, making them ideally suited to use in factories and other industrial applications.
Please Note:
Maximum supported distances and resolutions are dependent on both the monitor and the chipset used in the graphics card.
