The Lindy Hybrid USB 3.0 Cable extends a USB port by 50m, far longer than is possible with standard or active copper cables, whilst retaining SuperSpeed transfer rates of up to 5Gbps (backwards compatible with USB 2.0/1.1/1.0 devices). A lighter and more flexible construction makes this cable simple to install with cable trays and through conduits, whilst low RFI/EMI ensures that the cable can be installed in the most sensitive of environments. It supports isochronous data transfer, improving the timely delivery of data packets, which makes it ideal for synchronizing video and audio streams. This device is fully compatible with, and can be used to extend signals from, 4K USB 3.1/3.0 webcams and video conferencing systems.
For added convenience the Hybrid cable is bus-powered and is supplied with a USB Micro-B cable which can be attached to a second USB port should additional power be required.
Information about USB 3.0, 3.1 & 3.2
USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and devices are all compatible with each other, when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface.
USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 all support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.
USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 both support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.
The Lindy 150m Cat.6 HDMI 4K60, IR, RS232 & Audio HDBaseT KVM Receiver is one part of a high performance, reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable.
By combining this Receiver unit with a compatible HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter such as Lindy No. 38387 and 38388, this solution ensures reliable transmission up to 150m.
Supporting resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, while additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows content to be displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts of blacks and whites and a much wider colour gamut. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, immersive displays at events or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality with On/Off switch provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point to point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at one side of the installation.
This extender supports USB 2.0 devices like mouse, keyboard, and other peripherals to be connected to the receiver to control a source device such as a PC or laptop or for data transfer. Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source side.
In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could create a major issue.
HDBaseT is a globally recognised standard for high quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over longer distances via low cost Cat.6 or above cable.
HDBaseT_ and the HDBaseT Alliance logo are trademarks of the HDBaseT Alliance. Using a different cable type, introducing wall plates, couplers or patch panels will result in a reduction of possible distances.
Fibre Optic USB extenders allow USB signals to be extended far beyond the limits of traditional copper cable solutions. The Lindy 350m Fibre Optic USB 3.0 Extender supports SuperSpeed transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. This Extender is a complete, two-part hardware solution comprising of a transmitter that connects directly to the user's computer and receiver that connects to the USB peripheral, using _off the shelf_ LC duplex fibre cabling.
The extender is ideal for long distance use with remote desktop links, industrial control systems, surveillance control rooms and external storage applications. This device is fully compatible with, and can be used to extend signals from, 4K USB 3.1/3.0 webcams and video conferencing systems. Utilising fibre optic transmission, this extender provides high resistance to EMI and RFI, perfect for use in _noisy_ areas such as hospitals, large retail installations or industrial buildings.
Please note: This Extender is not backwards compatible with USB 2.0.
