The Lindy 2 Port Type C MST KVM Docking Station is a compact and versatile solution for connecting laptops to a range of interfaces including two displays. Featuring all critical interfaces required for a modern workstation, this device combines the comfort of a Desktop Docking Station with a Type C KVM Switch; it provides two USB 3.2 Type C inputs to connect sources such as laptops, tablets or smartphones in order to share the same workstation and peripherals connected. Switching is easily possible by pushing the button on the top of the unit.
The Docking Station enables the connection of two displays via HDMI and DisplayPort outputs at resolutions of 3840x2160@60Hz using DisplayPort Alternate Mode through the USB Type C ports. It supports also MST function to manage the simultaneous connection of both monitors, one with 4K30 and one with 1920x1080@60Hz maximum resolutions.
The USB Type C and Type A ports on the front panel provide up to 5Gbps of data transfer and BC 1.2 for fast charging perfect for connecting peripherals such as a hard drive, webcam and for charging a mobile device. Both USB Type C inputs support USB Power Delivery 3.0, PC1 port up to 100W (connecting an additional Type C PD power supply to PD port) while PC2 port up to 65W (just connecting the included power supply).
It provides also a Gigabit Ethernet and a 3.5mm port to connect a Network and an Audio stereo input/output device such as headphones, speakers or microphone.
The 18Gbps HDMI eARC audio extractor supports eARCfunction that also supports VESA format up to QSXGA@ 60Hz. The eARC extract audio from the source device and output it to audio amplifier through HDMI port. With the build in equalizer, retiming and driver the eARC effortless enhances the audio experience.
The Lindy DisplayPort to HDMI, DVI and VGA Converter allows users to connect either a HDMI, DVI or VGA screen to a Displayport source. Supporting 4K resolutions up to 3840x2160@30Hz on HDMI displays, content can be viewed with superior clarity and stunning accuracy. DVI monitors are supported with a maximum resolution of 1920x1200@60Hz, VGA monitors and projectors up to 1920x1080@60Hz.
With its lightweight, low profile design, this converter easily fits into a notebook bag and simply expands available connectivity options, so users can connect to the most commonly used digital and analogue video equipment, without having to carry multiple adapters - ideal for BYOD applications.
The Lindy DisplayPort to HDMI Converter connects a DisplayPort source device to an HDMI display or projector. It supports full 4K Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit and HDMI 2.0 with up to 18Gbps bandwidth, making it the ideal tool for high-resolution tasks like editing 4K videos.
HDCP 2.2 ensures issue-free playback of a variety of 4K Ultra HD movies, TV shows and other 4K content as well as existing Full HD signals.

USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and devices are all compatible with each other, when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface.
USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 all support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.

This docking station can support a 4k extended display at 30Hz or 1080p Full HD 60Hz via its HDMI port. It does this through a single USB-C connection using DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Alternatively, you can access crisp 1080p Full HD via the legacy VGA connection. If both video outputs are connected, 1080p Full HD is possible with the displays showing mirroring content.
