The LINDY Multilane Quad Drive features the latest high speed SAS interface (SFF-8470) which enables you to transfer data at up to 12 Gigabits per second (4 x 3 Gigabits) and can hold up 8 Terabytes of storage (4 x 2TB) using SATA Hard Drives (not supplied) making it the perfect storage addition to any computer or server.
The LINDY Multilane Quad Drive can be connected to using standard SAS or SATA Multilane cables to any compatible computer, if your computer does not feature a compatible port you can simply add a SATA Multilane PCI card to add this functionality. When connected to a SATA or SAS controller with RAID functionality the LINDY Multilane Quad Drive will provide compatibility with all of the RAID levels supported by the controller.
