Provides 5 hot-swap expansion bays for SAS / SATA hard drives!

The SATA RAID Back Plane system is an internal drive housing that supports five SAS / SATA hard Drives. It can be installed into any suitable PC case or expansion system which has three 5.25" half-height drive bays available. The system is ideal for servers or workstations, allowing instant hot-swap access to the hard drives.

The Back Plane features a unique connection mechanism which allows the drives to be mounted directly into the back plane without the need for a separate caddy. A special 'no-scratch' connector protects the drive contacts and is tested to exceed over 10,000 insertions and ejections.

  • Allows up to five 3.5" SAS / SATA 1.0a or II hard drives to be installed into three standard 5.25" half-height drive bays
  • Features 'caddy-less' drive ejection system
  • Supports "Hot Swap" function

  • LED indicators for power and hard disk drive access
  • Twin cooling fans

    • 5 x SATA 7 pin primary data channel (black) +
