This user station sends KVM- and audio signals via Cat 5 RJ45 cables. It is used either on a Cat.5 KVM switch MC5/-IP as a user station or as an independent KVM extender with a matching Cat.5 KVM module. The KVM switches MC5 and MC5-IP allow you to spatially separate admin workstations via Cat. 5 cables. This Cat.5 KVM module is already integrated in the KVM switch.

This user station sends KVM- and audio signals via Cat 5 RJ45 cables. It is used either on a Cat.5 KVM switch MC5/-IP as a user station or as an independent KVM extender with a matching Cat.5 KVM computer module. A KVM switch is integrated in the user station to alternately access two Cat. 5 outputs. For example, these two outputs can be used to access a KVM switch MC5 up to 300m away, on the other port a local or remote terminal can be accessed (also connected via a Cat. 5 cable and Cat 5 module) or to an additional KVM switch MC5.

This KVM Extender transmits two DVI-D signal over distances up to 1000m in HD resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) with no loss of image quality. Its high speed optical transmitter uses multiple active wavelengths for uncompressed data transfer between transmitter and receiver units.
Utilising 1:1 duplex multi-mode fibre optic cable allows you to make a substantial cost saving compared to other solutions that require multi-core fibre cables.
It also means transmission problems caused by using unequal simplex cables can be easily avoided from the outset, reducing installation time and costs.
Support for infrared control signals also means you gain the additional bonus of being able to control additional devices from a single hardware installation.
