For use with high-resolution monitors up to 2560x1600
Supports DVI-D Dual Link resolutions up to 2560 x 1600
For Single Link resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 or 1080p, please use our DVI Single Link Extender No. 32669
With almost all graphics cards and when using LINDY Super Long Distance cables (SLD), supports cable lengths up to 10m at input + 10m at output
Depending on the quality of the graphics chipset and the stability of the output signal, cable lengths up to 25 m are also supported on both input and output. The following section has some examples. These results may vary as a result of series dispersion or with different graphic card manufacturers.
When used with LINDY DVI Super Long Distance cables, allows the transfer of DVI signals via distances of up to 40m
Supports resolutions of up to 2560x1600
Your DVI signal source must provide a high-quality stable DVI signal to the above distances at full resolution and you need to use a high-quality DVI Super Long Distance cable.
In most cases, the Extender can be supplied with current via the DVI signal source. If your DVI signal source (graphics card, etc.) does not provide enough current via the DVI interface or if the Extender is not running stably, an optional power supply (e.g. No. 73812) with 5VDC, > 0,5A, 2,5(/5,5)mm DC round connector, + on middle contact) must be connected
Compact metal housing, dimensions approx. 5.5 x 4.5 x 2 cm (WxLxH)
Optional power supply not included in delivery.
Always make sure the DVI cables are screwed together tightly with the graphics card, extender and monitor. Only connected connections have excessively high contact resistances
If you cannot reach the above cable lengths, connect the optional power supply.
If you cannot achieve the above cable lengths with the power supply, either, try to cut the power supply for a brief time.
If the extender works at lower resolutions, this is a clear indication that the quality of the graphic card signal is not high enough
